Canon buys Israeli video solutions BriefCam for $90m

BriefCam an Israeli video synopsis and machine learning system was purchase by Canon Inc for 90m.

BriefCam has been deployed by law enforcement and companies around the world. In 2013, BriefCam played an integral role in capturing the suspects of the Boston Marathon bombings.  The purchase of BriefCam will undoubtedly be used to increase Canon's security camera portfolio headed by Axis.
