Richard CanonNews / Wednesday, November 20, 2019 / Categories: Rumors, Canon Mirrorless Sigma to announce Canon RF roadmap in early 2020 Now that we've seen Samyang come out with a Canon RF native lens, it should come as no surprise that Sigma is close to porting their E and L mount lenses over to the RF mount. According to CanonRumors; Apparently distributors have received some early information about SIGMA’s plans, but our source on this one didn’t want to divulge any more information. If history is any indication, first up will be the "adaptered" EF Sigma lenses, followed by the better more native L alliance / E-mount Sigma lenses designed for mirrorless full frame. Tamron and Sigma are the big two lens manufacturers that the RF mount needs to provide a variety of alternative lens options to RF users.
