Yes, I bet you didn't think it was possible to do so. Essentially the changes are the 18MP sensor and the mount is plastic versus the metal mounts used by all the other DSLR's. Canon in it's film past has used plastic mounts before, but this is the first time that they have done so with a DSLR. No word on whether or not the 4000D will ever hit North American shores.
