Canon coming out with a Canon RF 24-105 STM, Rebel and QX10 soon

It appears as if Canon will start their announcements soon, with leaks that Canon RF 24-105 STM is being released soon. I would imagine this is much like the Canon EF 24-105 STM which is a less expensive version of the L lens.  Expect this lens to be part of the EOS R and RP kits going forward to provide a lower initial buy in cost for those that want a native RF zoom kit lens.

Also being released is something called a QX10 in Black,white, green and pink.  Most likely this is one of the lifestyle cameras that Canon has been playing around with at trade shows.

As we have already written about, the third item coming is the Rebel 850D or T8i depending on where you purchase from.

The specifications in case you missed it are;

  • DIGIC 8
  • all-cross 45-point AF / dual-pixel CMOS AF
  • 4K30p video without crop
  • 3-inch 1.04 million dot touch panel vari-angle LCD
  • continuous shooting about 7.0 fps (about 7.5 frames / sec during live view)
  • 131.0 x 102.6 x 76.2mm
  • 515g (including battery)
