This lens, the 24-70mm isn't as important, however it atypically has better optical performance than the bigger zoom ratio 24-105mm. This patent application details multiple different optical designs, however, they all are quite similar. Given the backfocus distance and the image height, these designs are most certainly for the RF mount.
