New Rumor: Canon EOS R5 new firmware is coming "soon" Coming Soon™ seems to be Canon's trend these days, but the highly anticipated firmware update for the Canon EOS R5 is expected out soon. According to CanonRumors, the firmware hasn't yet made it to testing but is now expected in April as there are several dealer events planned for that month. The next firmware is expected to include; Canon Cinema RAW light addition C-Log 3 1080p @ 120fps New Codec(s) Bug fixes I personally also hope that they put in a high-temperature non-throttle setting similar to Sony cameras so there is a level playing field with reviewers between the two camera manufacturers. Firmware would be one thing that I would expect to be not delayed because of COVID-19, so we'll see if Canon meets this rumored target.
