In a startling announcement, Canon Rumors now suggests that they have confirmed that it looks like a full frame mirrorless camera is coming out on Sept 4/5th. This is surprising for a few reasons, 1) how quiet Canon managed to keep this. Not even the "name" of this camera is known yet, and we're 8 days away from announcement. 2) the odd timing of the announcement goes against Canon marketing for the last 2 decades. We will have to wait and see, but if the camera is being announced on the 4th / 5th of September, then we should see significantly detailed specifications in the next day or two. Canon Watch who has been championing the their suggestions that Canon will release a full frame mirrorless on September 5th, released these specifications a day ago. 28MP full frame sensor Dual Pixel Auto Focus IBIS (In Body Image Stabilisation) 10fps shooting 4k@30fps 1080p@60fps Priced $1,900 Stay tuned!
