The G5X Mark II is coming After nearly 4 years, the G5X Mark II is finally looking like it's going to be arriving soon. Nokishita has confirmed that the certification information for PC2355 is indeed the G5X Mark II. That, and we know from leaked pictures, that the G7X Mark III is coming as well this year. That leaves the G9X and the G3X as needing replacements in Canon's powershot lineup. While specifications are pretty much non existent, it's safe to assume that they will feature DIGIC 8 and some form of 4K recording. There was some earlier talk that this may sport a new 1" sensor with DPAF (making it most likely a Canon sensor and not a Sony sensor) so we will have to watch this carefully as it may be the start of a new sensor generation for Canon.
