Canon releases the M50 Mark II content creators kit

Canon has released the content creator kit for the Canon EOS-M M50 Mark II.

This kit can be purchased for $899.99 and includes the normal M50 Mark II kit which includes;

  • EOS M50 Mark II Body (Black)
  • Camera Cover R-F-4
  • EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM
  • Lens Cap E-49
  • Lens Dust Cap EB
  • Strap EM-200DB
  • Battery Charger LC-E12
  • Battery Pack LP-E12
  • Terminal Cover

As well, the content creator kit includes the IFC-600PCU USB cable and also includes two handy accessories for the beginning content creator;

  • Tripod Grip HG-100TBR with integrated Bluetooth Remote Control BR-E1
  • Stereo Microphone DM-E100

You can pre-order it from B&H here.

Is this a good deal?   I honestly don't think so. I think you'd be better off getting a regular M50 Mark II with 15-45mm lens and purchase a microphone separately, as well as a small tripod if that's what you require.  You'd probably even have enough left over to get a great smallrig cage for the M50 Mark II.
