Canon at CP+: EOS Design and Evolution Canon has released a seminar video on their EOS design and evolution as part of the CP+ event in Japan being held now. It starts off going back from the old FD days up to the R5. It's an interesting and fascinating story about Canon's continued evolution of the camera body and how some of the characteristics are from the days of the manual film cameras. Canon then goes into detail about the product design of the Canon EOS R5. This holding position was always my favorite way to hold a camera, and it's interesting to see it highlighted here. I used to Carry a 5D with a speedlite and a 24-70 F2.8 this way. All the time. I had no idea that it was a conscious design decision. This is a really cool seminar and well worth the watch. Enjoy!
