Canon crushes the month of May sales in Japan There was a report going around about the Sony A7III series camera being so popular in Japan so I decided to go check on what BCN has to say. Just a little background, BCN collects actual sales receipt data from around 50% of the online and retail stores in Japan, including heavyweights such as Amazon. It turns out the other list being circulated is nothing more than a top selling list from one Japanese camera company. As you can see from this list, checked here, canon holds the top 3 out of 5 positions and 7 out of 10 in total. The only mirrorless camera is the EOS-M50 taking up positions 3rd and 6th.
