New Rumor: New RF Lens list has appeared

A new lens list has appeared for the RF mount, are these the lenses that are coming out this year.

I'm personally shocked that Canon didn't finalize the list of RF lenses to be released this year and do a development announcement like last year.  I thought that kept the narrative going about the RF mount and it's capabilities throughout the year.

From CanonRumors we have a new list of lenses.  These ones are first of all already released or announced.

  • Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM (Announced)
  • Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM (Announced)
  • Canon RF 1.4x Extender (Announced)
  • Canon RF 2.0x Extender (Announced)

and the new lenses that we will get throughout the year;

  • Canon RF 10-24mm f/4L USM
  • Canon RF 35mm f/1.2L USM
  • Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 MACRO IS STM
  • Canon RF 85mm f/1.8 IS STM
  • Canon RF 70-135mm f/2L USM

They all seem plausible, I'd like to see the new RF 85mm 1.8 personally, but I'm surprised a 100mm macro has not made it into the list 2 years into the RF mount.  We have seen the patent application for the 50mm 1.8 Macro here.  I would have thought the better selling EF lenses would have been some of the first to make, and who doesn't have a real macro lens for the EF mount?

As CanonRumors noted, this list is markedly different then what we've heard of in the past.  Which makes me wonder.  Is Canon this year, a little unsure of the releases; which is why they didn't do a development announcement for the entire year?  It's a possibility that this may have happened, and a reason we may hear conflicting rumors.
