Canon announcing a Canon 85mm 1.2L USM DS soon Canon appears to be announcing a Canon RF 85mm 1.2L USM DS shortly. This appears to be different than the Canon 85mm 1.2L USM that has been previously leaked as the two lenses are their own distinct lettering. The 85mm 1.2L USM leaked two days ago does not have "DS" in the lettering around the ring of the lens. Canon has also trademarked DS or defocus smoothing. Canon in the past has applied for a number of patents for apodization filters on a variety of lenses. It could be what we are seeing here. Expect this lens to have further control over the out of focus bokeh, even more so than that RF 85mm 1.2L USM.
