Canon has registered a Camera and Accessory Canon has registered both a camera and an accessory with an overseas certification authority for Wi-Fi certification. According to Nokishita, the camera accessory is DS586224 and the interchangeable lens camera is DS126839. The accessory, DS586224 has both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz transmissions and the DS126839 camera body has 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and Bluetooth. Since the accessory has radio transmission, it makes me wonder if the accessory is a flash unit. However the frequencies are 2.4 and 5Ghz which would be unusual for speedlites. As someone mentioned, this could be just the WFT-E9, and if so, this all could be a late certification of the 1DX Mark III.
