Canon Patent Application: Canon RF 35mm F1.2 This patent application describes a lens that would make a lot of sense for Canon to develop and release, the Canon RF 35mm F1.2. This would complete the trifecta of F1.2 lenses. All these embodiments are big (130mm for the lens), and by the elements shown, heavy and complicated and thus, well, expensive. We hope that Canon will work on an excellent F1.4 and F1.8 set of primes as well.
