Canon Patent Application: EF to RF Soft focus adapter Keith from Northlight discovered this patent application which describes a soft focus adapter for EF lenses to RF mount. While it doesn't explicitly mention RF or EF adapter, it's a full frame adapter, with a registration distance of 22 to 33mm, so it stands to reason it would be tailored for the RF mount. As we have seen with the three EF to RF adapters already in existence for the Canon RF mount, it comes as no surprise that Canon is looking at every possible way of adapting EF lenses, to provide and "added value" to the older EF ecosystem onto the newer RF system.
