Canon to release the PowerShot PICK next week According to DC Watch, Canon is expected to announce the Powershot PICK on the crowdfunding site Makuake at 12 noon, January 29th. This will make it the third concept camera that Canon has crowdfunded. The Powershot PICK is supposed to be controlled by AI, which will automatically detect people's faces, changes to the scene, and when it is a good moment to take a photo. If this works well, it's bound to be popular. Imagine having this at a birthday party where you just sit it down and let it take the photos. No one has to worry about getting their phone or camera out or missing a moment, it just "does it". There will be a camera app that will allow you to view and share the images.
