Commlite EOS RF mount to EF lens adapter Commlite has released a new adapter for the RF system, the Cm-EF-EOS R adapter will mount on an EOS R or an EOS RP camera body and accept EF lenses. This is a straightforward adapter, and thus, Focus Studio who makes Commlite is selling it cheaply, for around 8,000 Yen (around $95 USD). This is slightly cheaper than Canon’s own adapter, but the Commlite adapter additionally includes a detachable tripod mount for heavier lenses to attach to the EOS R or the EOS RP. The Commlite mount adapter is made of aluminum alloy. Commlite claims that the adapter supports auto focus, EXIF, aperture control and image stabilization. Commlite adapters can be found on ebay and other retailers. Richard CanonNewsRichard CanonNews Richard has been using Canon cameras since the 1990s, with his first being the now legendary EOS-3.
