There's a rebel coming With all the breathless hype over the future EOS R, Canon seems to be going to announce the Rebel 850D shortly. The specs are actually better than what we've seen from the "M50'ed" Rebel bodies like the SL2. The 4K video has been improved, but it still is using the last generation 24MP sensor versus the new 32.5MP sensor. Specifications include; DIGIC 8 all-cross 45-point AF / dual-pixel CMOS AF 4K30p video without crop 3-inch 1.04 million dot touch panel vari-angle LCD continuous shooting about 7.0 fps (about 7.5 frames / sec during live view) 131.0 x 102.6 x 76.2mm 515g (including battery) We expect an announcement soon, most likely early next week.
