New Canon Mirrorless appears in bluetooth certification Nokishita-Camera discovered a bluetooth certification for a new Canon camera. It has some unusual naming conventions, calling two of four cameras Kiss M and also an M50. These are most likely the same camera but for different regions because Kiss is used primarily in Japan by the Rebel series of camera bodies. Are we seeing the first sign that Canon is moving it's famous and best selling Rebel lineup to mirrorless? It would be a move that would certainly rock the industry and in a split nano-second change the MILC marketshare globally ;) One thing that suggests this isn't a Rebel replacement is the model name, Nokishita suggests it starts with PC232 - PC is the powershot cameras, and not the DSC designation as you see with Canon DSLR's. This could also be the first hint that a EOS-M5 replacement is coming out as well - as early next year will make it around 1.5 years old and due for an upgrade. Keep in mind that this is the certification for the bluetooth module, a camera body using this could be easily 6 months or more from now - as we haven't seen any camera bodies issued for certification that would use this module.
