New Rumor: Canon Powershot G7x Mark III arriving early 2019

A new rumor has surfaced about new G7x Mark III coming out in early 2019.

The interesting part of this rumor is the inclusion of a DPAF sensor into the 1" camera lineup.  For this to happen, and for the Canon sensor to be competitive against the Sony 1" sensors, a lot of good things has to occur to Canon's sensor manufacturing, and we will possibly see the next generational sensor featured first in this Powershot camera.

This camera will very likely have DIGIC 8 and some form of 4K video and be an entry level vlogging camera.

Canon Rumors suggests;

We’re told the focus of the camera will definitely be as a premium compact image taker as well as for vlogging on a budget.

4K with DPAF will be featured in the camera, along with a new image sensor, slightly longer zoom range and new ergonomics. A detailed spec list has not yet been shown to us.
