New Rumor: Canon to announce another camera very soon A new rumor has surfaced that Canon is about to launch a new camera soon. The source doesn't know what the camera is, howver the source goes on to surmise that it could be either a Powershot or an EOS-M. I would be more likely to be inclined to think that it would be a powershot camera if one is coming out for May, versus an EOS-M camera. Of course, it could be an EOS-M camera that has been "M50-ed" much like the SL3. The SL3 simply added 4K video via a new DIGIC 8 processor to the camera and not much more. We do know that a G7X Mark III was certainly scheduled to be released since images of the camera have leaked a long time ago. It's certainly due, and give us quite probably a glimpse into the future to what the M5 Mark II will contain in terms of functionality and sensor, as rumors also suggest that this contains a Canon made 1" dual pixel auto focus sensor. Time will tell. Richard CanonNewsRichard CanonNews Richard has been using Canon cameras since the 1990s, with his first being the now legendary EOS-3.
