New Rumor: Update to the TS-E 17mm rumored

The well regarded TS-E 17mm is rumored to be nearing replacement.  This would stand to reason as it's nearly 9 years since it's release (I can't believe it's been almost 9 years)

We haven't' seen any specific TS-E related patents with respect to the optical formula however we have spotted several mechanical and electronic patents including IS and AF on TS-E lenses.  Could the next TS-E's starting with the 17 and the 24 get AF and IS?

CR notes;

We’ve now heard from multiple people that an update to the Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L tilt-shift lens is likely coming some time in the next year. The current version was announced in June of 2009, so we are approaching the 10 year anniversary of this highly regarded lens.
