The prices for the new RF Nifty-Fifty and "beer can" 70-200mm F4L IS USM have leaked The US domestic prices of the upcoming Canon RF 50mm F1.8 STM and the Canon RF 70-200mm F4L IS USM have leaked. The price of the 50mm is a pleasant surprise, coming in at a price of $199. This is going to be a great seller, similar to the Canon EF 50mm F1.8 STM. It may not be the best optic out there, but for $199, you really won't be able to go wrong with it. The price of the Canon RF 70-200 F4L IS USM, is much higher as would be expected, at $1599, this is a bit of a sticker shock over the Canon EF 70-200mm F4L which was released at $1299. To be fair, the Sony FE 70-200mm F4 was announced at $1500, so the mirrorless ballpark seems to the there. But it is a bit more pricey than expected. We expect a release shortly. Either tonight or the next few days. More links Nokishita Richard CanonNewsRichard CanonNews Richard has been using Canon cameras since the 1990s, with his first being the now legendary EOS-3.
