Leaked roadmap shows some of Canon's future lenses - Maybe
A leaked roadmap from CanonRumors shows what appears to be a long term project plan for the release of RF lenses (as well is the decommissioning of EF lenses).
The notable lenses that are on that roadmap that has yet to be released are the consumer 100-400 and 18-45mm lenses and a 24mm Macro IS.
There has been scuttlebutt that the 18-45mm is an APS-C lens, but as you can see from the detailed plan, there's certainly no identification that the lens would be APS-C. Also, it's in the same section as other full-frame lenses. You can see further down the chart that Canon has separated the APS-C and full-frame EF lenses. There is no reason not to think that this is a full-frame lens. Canon desperately needs a consumer ultra wide-angle lens - with the "cheapest" L lens the 14-35mm F4L IS USM at a eye popping $1700.
As far as when these lenses will appear, it's anyone's guess, and even though this was the plan back in 2019, many things have changed since then, Canon always has the right to change a project plan and release schedule.
