Canon Patent Application: Another IBIS related patent application

Another dual IBIS patent application has surfaced for Canon, this one dealing with the cross over between low-frequency shake and high-frequency shake and what happens if you hit that "un-sweet spot" where the shake is in between the two frequency cutoffs and neither one of the image stabilization methods (optical and sensor) significantly handles the motion.

As with other patent applications, this one shows a DSLR-like camera, but to be honest, that's more of a cookie-cutter image and description, and not related in any way to the actual patent.  Other patent applications from Canon showed a camera device that appeared like an EVF based EF camera.  I wouldn't read too much into the patent application drawings about the camera. Also, as with other dual IBIS patent applications, this patent application relies on a significant amount of communication between both the Camera and the Lens making it difficult for Canon to implement on the EF mount which has a much slower communication protocol than the Canon RF mount.
