It appears to be a camera that has been registered before, but this time there's more details. Buried in EOS Utility code is the size specifications for DS126801 which indicates a 6960x4640 RAW file size or around 32.5MP. We heard rumors before that Canon is looking at coming out with a 32MP camera to replace the EOS 7D / 90D with and also the M5. When this rumor first came out we suggested it was unlikely right now, and we are still leaning towards that, but time marches on and maybe Canon has a big sensor surprise waiting for us when this camera debuts. The battery is also mentioned as the LP-6N but that could mean just about any higher end DSLR that Canon would create as the 6D II, 5D IV, 7D II, 80D, and EOS R all share the same battery. The six segmented display of the battery level though is limited to Canon's higher end DSLR's and mirrorless. We're making an assumption that this is an APS-C camera body. Right now nothing really indicates that it's an APS-C, but the size doesn't appear to fit in with other full frame cameras that are either going to be well north of 50MP or most likely under 26MP. While this body is registered with DS it's then most likely either a 90D or 7D Mark II replacement camera body, as the DSLR's are usually registered with DS or DSC and the EOS-M's are usually registered with PC as the designator. Time will tell.
