The Canon RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5 L Fisheye STM is the largest full-frame mirrorless zoom lens in existence today (January 2023). The lens features a 190-degree field of view at 7mm, larger aperture, weather resistance (see below), an alternative drop-in filter system for all-purpose use, and an STM autofocus system that should perform well with video as well as still images.

The Canon RF 14mm f/1.4 L VCM is an ultra-wide and bright prime lens designed for astrophotography and video use. It includes rapid autofocus, little focus breathing, and crisp optics as well as a small weight of 578g, while it will retail for around $2,599.

In 2025, compact camera shipments took off big with a 29.6% increase in units shipped and a 48.9% increase in dollars shipped, driven by strong demand in Asia and hot products like the Fujifilm X100VI. Mirrorless cameras saw a small increase, but DSLRs saw a near disappearance.
