Richard CanonNews / Monday, July 1, 2019 / Categories: Rumors, Canon Powershot G5X Mark II Images and Specifications leaked We suggested when the G7X Mark III specifications were leaked that Canon could have been using the Sony stacked sensor to achieve 30 fps RAW, and in this leak today of the G5X Mark II specifications, we see that the leak indicates it is using the 1" stacked sensor (most likely from Sony). This explains how Canon was able to achieve 30 fps. Nokishita has released the leaked specifications and images of the G5X Mark II and it's similar to the G7X Mark III as one would expect, with the addition of a new popup EVF. Why the difference for the G7X and the G5X now? Well, as before, a slightly heavier camera, and more expensive because it will have an EVF as well. Also with the G5X II you have a wider focal range of 24-120mm.
