From Canon Rumors; 28.1mp full-frame CMOS Up to 30fps still shooting Dual DIGIC 9 (This would be the first time the 1D series would introduce a new processor) IBIS New and larger rear LCD, the source said it looked brighter too. February announcement It would be unusual for Canon to release DIGIC 9 into the 1DX as the first look at the new processor, it also would seem odd that a user of the prototype camera would know the DIGIC version. Now that Sony has released a fairly small update to the A9, with the A9 Mark II, then it's Canon and Nikon's turn to come up with something unique for the professional photographer marketplace.
