New firmware coming for the EOS R?

A new rumor, leaked by Canon Rumors, suggests that a new firmware update is coming for the EOS R.

Firmware always seems to be a tricky thing to predict, and rumors of firmware always seem to be anticlimactic.  However, there is no denying that Canon has released several new important features to the EOS R over its 11 month lifespan to date.

This firmware update, according to Canon Rumors, will focus on (literally), improving the eye AF, especially at further away distances.

No other mention of other features is available at this date. Given Canon's last two firmware updates, it may just be this sole feature and some bugs and fixes.
