New Rumor: Canon to release a Vlogger styled APS-C camera soon CanonRumors has released a new rumor that Canon is coming out with an APS-C camera tailored to vloggers. They were told that it's similar to the M6 Mark II (so I would imagine no EVF) and features a new type of articulating LCD. It would seem strange to see a new type of LCD on this camera since Canon's usual fully articulating LCD is most suited for video, versus photography. An LCD that flips up (similar to the current M6 Mark II design) usually gets in the way of hotshoe-mounted video peripherals and cannot be seen from the front. The M5 had a downward hinge and featured the same problem as you couldn't see the LCD from the front. So it will be interesting to see what this new LCD looks like. The information is expected fairly shortly with CanonRumors stating it's expected to be announced before November of this year.
