New Rumor: New firmware coming for the R3 and R5 According to CanonRumors, there is new firmware coming this week for the EOS R3 and the EOS R5. Little information is available about what this firmware update contains but CanonRumors states; The new firmware will be focused on video improvements for both cameras. Sorry photographers. Usually firmware rumors are vague at best, and some of the most wildly inaccurate ones of the bunch. This always puzzled me, you'd think it would be a set schedule for firmware releases. There are indications that the new firmware is already being installed on cameras that are in for servicing, so if you get your R3 or R5 back with the new firmware - do let us know.
