Richard CanonNews / Tuesday, December 8, 2020 / Categories: Rumors, Third Party New Rumor: Sigma to start creating RF mount lenses in 2021 According to NikonRumors, they have heard that Sigma is planning on producing RF (and Nikon Z) mount lenses sometime in 2021. It should be a fairly smooth process for Sigma, even if they simply at this time wish to use the EF protocol instead of RF. This of course is good news for those that have moved over to the RF system already, as the current Canon lenses for RF mount are a little on the pricey side and it would be good to have alternatives available, such as Sigma's lovely 14-24mm F2.8 lens.
