Another supertelephoto patent surfaces

We have discovered another supertelephoto patent application from Canon, this one dealing with further reduction of chromatic abberations and axial CA

The lens designs don't specifically have IS elements marked, but does feature element groups that canon usually uses for IS.

The supertelephoto's listed in this patent application are;

  • 300 2.8
  • 400 2.8
  • 500 4.0
  • 600 4.0
  • 800 5.6
