7Artisans announces 7.5mm F2.8 Fisheye II

7Artisans has released version II of their 7.5mm F2.8 fisheye lens for the Canon EF-M mount (and others too)

It appears they have improved the mechanical aspects of the lens, the hood, body and lens cap mechanism.

They say;

The symptoms of vignetting due to the conventional lens hood are improved by integrating the hood and the lens barrel. The lens mount parts are made of durable aluminum alloy, which is the material of aircraft, and can be mounted with high accuracy. In addition, the new metal lens cap has been improved to a covered type, making it easy to remove and install.

7Artisans lenses aren't usually the sharpest that you can find, but they are extremely inexpensive, and for that reason really fun to use if you keep the insanely low cost in your mind.
