PhotographyBlog: Sigma 60-600mm Sports review PhotographyBlog has released their Sigma 60-600mm review, Sigma's new hyper-telephoto zoom lens for full frame cameras. Tested using a Canon 5DS, check out the review here to see how it fares. As a spoiler here's what they had to say about it; The new Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports is a unique lens that delivers versatility, performance and optical quality in spades. Sigma have further refined the build quality of their Sports lenses, with the new 60-600mm utilizing a complex mix of magnesium and hi-tech plastics. Consequently this lens is smaller, lighter and slightly faster than the well regarded and very similar Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports optic, whilst offering a much more versatile focal range at the short end, although it is admittedly more expensive, especially in the UK. At a glance the Sigma 60-600 sports (literally) the following specifications; EF-Mount Lens/Full-Frame Format Aperture Range: f/4.5 to f/32 Three FLD Elements, One SLD Element Super Multi-Layer Coating Hyper Sonic AF Motor Intelligent OS Image Stabilization Removable Arca-Type Tripod Foot TSC Material, Dust- and Moisture-Sealed Rounded 9-Blade Diaphragm Compatible with Sigma Teleconverters Get it here from B&H Photo Video Adorama Richard CanonNewsRichard CanonNews Richard has been using Canon cameras since the 1990s, with his first being the now legendary EOS-3.
