Canon EOS R5 appears in Korean certification

Nokishita has discovered the EOS R5 being submitted for certification in Korea.  The only real takeaway about this is that we now know there's 5Ghz WIFI with the R5.  This is a little surprising, as the 1DX Mark III had 5Ghz WIFI only through the external WFT-E9 accessory.

Also, we have now confirmed that DS126838 is for certain the R5. This means that this prior certification was certainly for the R5, and this certification for DS126832 is most likely the R6.

Other than that, there's no news I'm afraid.

NAB 2020 was going to be held from April 19-22nd.  While we know the C300 Mark III is coming out for that event, Canon would have also been showing off the R5's 8K. No proof of this, but it really stands to reason that the largest professional video tradeshow Canon would show off its game-changing mirrorless camera that can shoot 8K video internally.

If that's the case, I'm curious if we'll get more tidbits from Canon that would have been released during the show.  I'm hopeful that we'll hear more in the coming week about the R5.
