Canon Patent Application: Canon RF 50mm F1.8, RF 28mm 1.8

Buried in the RF 35mm 1.8 patent application is two more lenses that have a very high degree of chance of being made

This patent application also contains the 50mm 1.8 and the 28mm 1.8 lenses.  Both of these lenses are for the RF mount as the back focus (BF) is around 20mm or under.  The 28mm, shows a real significant ingress into the lens mount.  While this is possible, it may not be practical.

Focal length 48.50
F-number 1.85
Half angle of view (degrees) 24.04
Image height 21.64
Total lens length 95.00
BF 15.80

Focal length 28.80
F-number 1.85
Half angle of view (degrees) 36.91
Image height 21.64
Total lens length 80.30
BF 7.00

Update: There is talk that these lenses do not support IS.  In the diagram about G2F is the IS compensation optic, and that optic appears in all the embodiments.  it's very likely that all these lenses will ultimately contain IS.
