Canon Patent Application: Super telephotos

Canon has filed another patent on super telephoto primes.  I suspect that many patents go into making the next version of super telepotos and that the work is pretty extensive.  These appear to be EF super telephotos as well, because they have a significantly large back focus distance normally associated with the EF mount, versus the RF mount.  We have seen specific super telephoto patents for the RF mount, and the supertelephotos take advantage of Canon's short backfocus distance with the RF mount.

I see that one site is claiming these are possibly RF mount super telephotos.  A patent for supertelephotos looking like this, with a shorter than EF mount back focus distance, clearly indicates an RF mount design, whereas this patent application shows a larger backfocus distance associated with the EF mount designs.

I'm not sure these designs would make it into production, they seem to be pretty simplistic and also lack the elements that Canon usually has in their super telephotos for image stabilization.
