Canon RF 5.2mm F2.8L Dual Fisheye coming soon It seems like Canon is releasing the dual fisheye 5.2mm F2.8L soon. Nokishita is reporting that the product has been added to overseas dealers and that usually means the release is soon. It's an unexpected lens release. I wonder if Canon had a large client that wanted this, and so this rushed it out of turn. Regardless, from what we have now heard of the description, it certainly sounds like the patent application we first discovered here is going to be this lens, as from Nokishita the description is "The world’s first digital interchangeable lens capable of enabling stereoscopic 3D 180° VR shooting to a single image sensor" I wouldn't expect this lens to be a hot seller, but you never know, I think that will be determined by the price.
