DPReviewTV: Canon 200mm F1.8L Blast from the Past

The Canon 200mm 1.8L is considered one of the finest lenses ever made by Canon. Canon made this lens back in 1988, and as it was during the transition from FD to EF, they actually made this lens in both mounts.  The Canon 200mm F1.8 FD is much rarer than the EF mount. So much so that it does not even appear in Canon's own lens museum.

DPReviewTV along with Irene Rudnyk took out the Canon EF 200mm F1.8L for a spin on today's modern high-resolution EOS R5.  Craig from CanonRumors donated the Canon 200mm F1.8L for the test.  Let's all pause for a moment to be jealous of Craig.

The sample images are simply magical.
