It seems that image.Canon is now up and running and able to be used.

Features of image.Canon includes the ability to automatically transfer image from your camera up to the cloud and then over to various services and your computer.  Canon can send your images to other cloud services. Canon has enabled automatic transfer to Google Drive and Youtube but promises that other services will be added.  Such as Google Photos, Flickr, etc

You get 10GB of long term storage, and all original images stay on image.Canon for up to 30 days.
