Meyer Optik Görlitz adds native Canon RF to its lens lineup

Meyer Optik Görlitz has just announced that they have re-released all their lenses with native Canon RF mounts.  While their last two lenses, the Trioplan 100mm F2.8 II and the Trioplan 35mm F2.8 II were both released with Canon RF mount natively, the rest of the lineup did not support the RF mount.  This is no longer the case.

Apparently given all the supply shortages, COVID, etc this was a much more difficult task than normal for Meyer Optik Görlitz.  According to Timo Heinze, Managing Director Meyer Optik / OPC Optics, the process ‘took quite a bit longer than usual due to the extremely volatile economic situation (capacity bottlenecks, lack of resources, extreme price & availability fluctuations for raw materials, etc.).’

You can purchase the lenses directly from Meyer Optik Görlitz website located here and also from B&H Photovideo
