Mirrorless UWA APS-C Zoom Patent Application

In this discovered patent application, Canon is discussing some mirrorless IS zooms.  This is an APS-C patent application as well.

The zooms listed in the patent are:

  • 18-45 3.5-5.6
  • 9-18 4-5.6
  • 11-30 3.5-5.6
  • 10-20 4-5.6

Of course with all patent applications, it's something that Canon is investigating that may or may not turn into an actual product.

With the look of the lens elements, this also looks like it's possible for them to be collapsible lens designs.
