New Rumor: Canon EOS R5 to have SD and CFExpress One of the most talked-about elements of the upcoming R5 is what card slots will it have. It seems that Canon has decided on a compromise similar to that of the 5D Mark IV. The new rumor from Canon Rumors is that the R5 will have a CFExpress card and an SD card slot. While this means in an emergency you'll be able to use any SD card, it also means that the buffer depth for the R5 will not be as good with dual card slots as the 1DX Mark III. I'm sure Canon would like the fastest RF camera to be a 1 series camera body which won't be out until 2021.
