Sigma to start shipping the EOS-M 16,30 and 56mm primes this month
For those eagerly waiting for Sigma to release their primes for the EF-M, the wait is soon over.
According to Sigma, they will start shipping the lenses around October 18th (at least in Japan).
Interestingly, these lenses are also part of Sigma's mount exchange, which means you can, for a fee, swap in between the Sony, MFT and Canon EF-M mount.
The price (in yen) for the lenses are;
Sigma 16mm F1.4 DC DN - 57,000 Yen
Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC DN - 48,000 Yen
Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN - 57,000 Yen
This seems to be in line with the prices for the Sony and MFT mount lenses already released, so you can expect the EF-M lenses to be around the same price as the other mounts sans discounts.
