Canon Patent Application: Canon RF 130mm F2.0

Canon has applied for a patent for an RF mount 130mm F2.0.  Their main goal is to design a well-corrected lens as described by the patent application itself;

To provide an optical system that is compact and has well-corrected various aberrations such as chromatic aberration.

There are a few embodiments, with varying back focus distances we have one of the more "relaxed" designs in terms of back focus distance shown below;

Canon RF 130mm F2.0

Focal length         130.70
F number               2.06
Half angle of view     9.40
Image height          21.64
Total length of lens 132.53
BF                    27.26

Could this be the RF replacement for the legendary Canon EF 135mm F2L?  Yes, the optical design is actually a little more complex than the EF's as it contains 11 elements in some of the embodiments. Size wise, the EF lens was around 110mm , and these embodiments are all around the same size.
