Canon starts to roll out security firmware updates

Canon has started to roll out security fixed to the PTP (Picture transfer protocol) after posting the security advisory.

I would expect we'll see more updates as time goes on, covering most if not all of Canon's cameras.  They seem to be working from the top and moving down:
