Edit:

There has been more details released by digicame-info (machine translated)

-(Append) dual sensing IS a body-side sensor information and to compensate for the hand-shake with gyro sensor lens for both still at the improvement of 0.5-min
-No shutter sound shooting enables silent mode (append) new
-(Append) auto lighting optimizer improvements
-High brightness (PS) side-tone priority feature improvement
-(Append) 4 K full HD time lapse feature
-(Append) microphone, stereo microphone DM-E 1 response
-(Append) motion and background distance information with improved AF accuracy of motion tracking
-(Append) two-axis electronic level
-(Append) playback of RAW images for HDR output from HDMI

There are some notables and some more questions specifcally what is the dual sensing IS, a bigger AF area for dual pixel AF and the additional of eye AF.

The body is most definately stripped down from it's M5 brother, making this clear this is supposed to be as point and shoot and touch screen oriented as the M100.

It really appears like Canon is looking at vloggers and going, this is the camera of choice for you. Canon colors, improved DPAF, fully articulating screen and 4K makes a compelling small camera package for vloggers.
